ONE of the largest trade bodies has fired its boss and expressed disgust following a series of complaints about workplace behaviour.
Tony Danker had agreed to step down as Confederation of British Industry's director general while an outside law firm investigated his conduct.
Yesterday he said he was "shocked" by his sacking. The CBI suspended three other unnamed members of staff.
