Matt Willis has credited his wife Emma for helping him survive a heavy cocaine habit that she once feared would kill him.
TV presenter Emma, who hosts ITV's The Voice, stuck by the bass player even though her friends and family were begging her to get out.
In a BBC documentary, Matt, who turned 40 yesterday, says: "I dread to imagine where I'd be without her.
"I'm so grateful and thankful for her in so many ways.
"A lot of people don't have someone like that, and especially not someone that's going to stick around when you put them through hell."
