ALEXANDER ISAK has given Newcastle United a massive boost by restating his commitment to the club and dismissing suggestions of a £100million-plus transfer.

The Sweden star is one player Eddie Howe needs to keep to relaunch his side after a mixed campaign when they finished seventh and fell out of the European elite.

Isak scored 21 goals in the Premier League and 25 in total for the Toon, hitting numbers last seen on Tyneside 20 years ago when Alan Shearer reached those figures.

The star's versatility across the front line as a goalscorer, coming from wide or deep, and with dribbling skills, have caught the eye of United's rivals.
