Soap's Danny left family in dark over death

EASTENDERS' Danny Walters fibbed to his family to avoid revealing that his character Keanu Taylor was the Christmas murder victim.

In an epic twist, Keanu was stabbed by Linda Carter (played by Kellie Bright) as Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), who had been thought by most fans to be the show's victim, was resuscitated by wife Suki.

Three-and-a-half million watched as Keanu, who had been due to marry Sharon Watts in the episode, was killed.

The BBC soap teased the explosive scenes back in February. Potential murderers Linda, Sharon, Stacey Slater, Suki Kaur Panesar, Denise Fox and Kathy Beale were dubbed "The Six", with fans speculating over who would be the victim.
