STRICTLY Come Dancing fans will be well aware of the close bond that Chris McCausland has forged with his pro partner Dianne Buswell.
Every week viewers have marvelled at how well the blind comedian has learned the routines without visual cues that seem vital.
He thought he would be out by week three, so Chris reckons the whole process has been both terrifying and incredible.
And he puts his success mostly down to Dianne's teaching skills. "It's been absolutely nuts," he jokes. "But I wouldn't change anything about it, or anything about her." Chris, 47, says the past three and I a half months, since the 20th anniversary series began, have felt like years.
"It's the maddest experience of time in that the training days, they drag, because it's just relentless. But the Saturdays come around so fast. I can't remember my life before Strictly," he says. "It literally feels like this is all I've ever done."
