The 51-year-old actress found fame with her self-titled sitcom in 2009 and went on to star in Call the Midwife from 2012 until 2015.
But she did not return for the sixth series of the BBC drama following reports she was unwell.
The star now plans to share the highs and lows of the past few years in her memoir.
In a post she shared online, Miranda can be seen holding up her new book and wearing a T-shirt with the word 'Proud'.
