Ex-glamour model tortures man to steal his inheritance

A FORMER glamour model and her male accomplice spent a week subjecting a "broken man" to violent assaults so they could rob him of his inheritance.

Leanne Houston, 34, and Stephen Kerr, 40, got their hands on thousands of pounds from their victim by torturing him.

The High Court in Edinburgh heard the duo assaulted the man at locations in north Glasgow between May 6 and May 12 last year.

They repeatedly struck him with a knife and a hammer and demanded he tell them the PIN number to his bank cards.

The pair forced him to go with them to ATMs to withdraw cash which they used to buy drugs and alcohol.

And they compelled the man, who can't be named for legal reasons, to buy them items from shops and to transfer cash from his savings account which was boosted by a family inheritance.

Houston and Kerr were told they face long jail terms.
