ENGLAND roared into the semi-finals of Euro 2024 with a stunning penalty shootout display in Dusseldorf.
Gareth Southgate's Three Lions lost the final of this tournament from the spot last time around but were never in danger here with a precise display against Switzerland.
All five of England's penalties found the back of the net, while Jordan Pickford saved Manuel Akanji's first effort for the Swiss.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, who took the winning kick, said: "Incredible, these are the goals that we set for ourselves. Difficult opponent going behind and the team showed a lot of character, belief, heart and spirit out there.
