RONNIE O'SULLIVAN insists he is more interested in 'destroying' his opponents than topping the snooker world rankings.
The Rocket dazzled to win a record-extending eighth UK Championship crown in York last Sunday.
An impressive 40th ranking title has now extended his lead at the top of the world rankings.
But the seven-time world champion insisted he felt bad about claiming the lofty position that all his rivals are battling to reach.
He said: "It's wrong that I'm No.1 because I'm not bothered - and everyone's chasing it! I feel it's so wrong, I'm nicking all their glory."
