A TV star and former soldier is urging lonely Brits to go on winter walks and support military heroes.
Escape To The Country's Jules Hudson has teamed up with Walking With The Wounded as data shows six in 10 veterans face loneliness.
The charity revealed ex-servicemen and women are 10% more likely to feel alone than civilians.
Ex-British Army Reservist Jules, 54, who also stars in BBC One's Countryfile, said: "I'm immensely proud to be supporting such a worthy fundraising campaign.
