ENZO MARESCA has warned Leicester must forget their illustrious recent past now they are a Championship club.
A golden decade for the Foxes saw them win the Premier League in 2016 and FA Cup in 2021, but it turned sour last season when they were relegated from the top flight.
They start their first season in the second tier since 2013/14 tomorrow with a match against rivals Coventry.
And new boss Maresca, who quit his role as Pep Guardiola’s No.2 to take over, has given his players a reality check after insisting they must adapt to their surroundings quickly.
He said: “If we think about winning the Premier League and FA Cup years ago, that would be a big mistake for us.
