LEWIS HAMILTON insists it will be his decision whether he stays on at Mercedes beyond the current campaign after Charles Leclerc was linked with his seat.

An extension appeared to be little more than a formality just a few months ago but, amid Mercedes' performance struggles, talks have been put on hold again.
Hamilton, who finished second last time out in Australia, could choose to walk away from the sport at the end of the season.
