Three-stop Verstappen’s roaring towards next title

IT WAS a definition dominance of the Austrian at Grand Prix as Max Verstappen stormed to victory.

Such is the confidence in their car and driver, Red Bull even risked bringing Verstappen in for a late third stop.

The Dutchman responded by taking the fastest lap and a bonus point on the final tour of the Spielberg track where he has now won five times, more than any other venue.

Having taken pole on Friday for yesterday's main event, Verstappen followed up by doing the same for Saturday's sprint race before fending off teammate Sergio Perez for the win.
