VIRGIL VAN DIJK has admitted he is a big fan of Arne Slot's new 'home comforts rule' for games at Anfield.
Slot has made a superb start to life at Liverpool, losing just one game - a surprise defeat at home against high-flying Nottingham Forest - and his side is already four points clear at the top of the Premier League with a game in hand over second-placed Chelsea.
As well as that one defeat, they have won 12 and drawn three in the top flight. In the Champions League, they have won all six so far, as well as all three games in the Carabao Cup. It could hardly have started better for the Dutch manager.
His fellow countryman, and Liverpool captain, Van Dijk is loving not only winning most weeks but a new rule Slot (inset) put in place, which allows players to stay in their own homes rather than at a hotel before a home match.
