THE Nottingham knife rampage suspect went to the same university as the students killed.
University of Nottingham chiefs said they were "devastated" to learn that the man being held was engineering graduate Valdo Calocane, 31.
He was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murdering Grace O'Malley-Kumar and Barnaby Webber, both 19, who were studying there, and caretaker lan Coates, 65.
The culprit allegedly stole Coates' van before mowing down three pedestrians.
