VERSTAPPEN’S crushing dominance of Formula One continued at the Austrian Grand Prix after he put his Red Bull on pole position.
The world champion, a winner at six of the first eight races, saw off the Ferrari challenge of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, second and third respectively, to seal his fourth pole on the spin for tomorrow’s Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring.
But his team principal Christian Horner was left fuming that both his Red Bull cars will not be on the front row after all three of Sergio Perez’s laps in Q2 were deleted for track limits, meaning he will start 15th.
