The pop star, who was joined at the ceremony by celebrity friends including Paris Hilton, Madonna, Donatella Versace and Drew Barrymore, tied the knot with boyfriend of five years Sam Asghari at their home in Thousand Oaks, California.
Preparations for the ceremony were disturbed when Spears's former husband Jason Alexander - who she was married to for 55 hours in 2004 before the marriage was annulled - turned up and got into an altercation with security staff. Alexander managed to get inside the event, livestreaming himself as he initially bypassed security before being stopped.
Online followers watched as he scaled a fence and made his way inside the star's home before he was tackled.
