A RADICAL break-up plan for Matt Moulding’s Hut Group business THG today failed to inspire an upturn in the e-commerce’s firm’s stock market fortunes.

THG shares, which were 500p when they listed in a £5.4 billion flotation September 2020, fell 2% or 1.4p to 62.85p as the Manchester-based company revealed it is considering a move to focus on its MyProtein and Lookfantastic divisions.

It intends to demerge Ingenuity, which provides technology services for retail and consumer brands including Frasers Group.
