RHASIDAT ADELEKE and Ciara Mageean will spearhead the largest-ever Irish challenge at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest later this month.
Adeleke, the reigning NCAA 400m champion who has just turned pro, and Mageean – who broke Sonia O’Sullivan’s long-standing Irish mile record two weeks ago – are among 23 hopefuls named by Athletics Ireland for the championships that take place from August 19 to August 27.
