It was an impressive display from the All-Ireland champions, with 4-22 from play and 12 scorers.

Armagh's goals came in a seven-minute spell at the start of the second half.

The Oak Leafers were dealt a hammer blow when talisman Shane McGuigan picked up two yellow cards in quick succession with 30 minutes gone.

Armagh led 0-12 to 0-8 at the break and then put Derry to the sword with a stunning display - and that glut of goals at the start of the second half.
