The cool Cumbrian was back to his best at the National Speedway Stadium, riding up the fence to pass Niels-Kristian Iversen in the final heat on Monday night as the Aces beat Peterborough.
Bewley stated in a pre-meeting interview on the British Speedway Network that he just wanted to ‘hit the dirt, bingo bango and checkout’.
That saying has immediately stuck with the ATPI Aces fans as it went viral on social media just as he delivered his first maximum score of the season in the 56-34 victory.
Bewley said: “I don’t know about it being a flawless night, we had a few races from the back. It was good, I really enjoyed it.
“We changed a lot of things mechanically that weren’t actually the issue. But we are starting to get comfortable now, we just need to get out of the starts.
