LETTER TO BUSINESSES OUTLINES RADICAL PLAN FOR TOWN CENTRE
A ONE-WAY road system and 20mph speed limit are set to be introduced in Ramsbottom town centre.
Businesses in the town have received a letter on the changes before a public consultation on 'Streets for All' proposals for Ramsbottom begins next week.
The letter describes the 'introduction of a one-way system and a 20mph speed limit' on Bridge Street and other nearby roads. Other proposed changes include road junction improvements, widened footpaths and upgraded existing and crossings around the town centre.
