Police were called to Field Street, Failsworth, Oldham, shortly before 8am yesterday after reports of concern for welfare for a man in his 40s.
He was rushed to hospital after sustaining 'life-changing' stabbing injuries to his wrist. A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault.
