The Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) issued a stern notice in the afternoon, confirming the immediate expulsion of these leaders for six years. The notice, signed by HPCC president Udai Bhan stated that the party took this step to curb indiscipline and maintain unity ahead of the election. “Reports through various means of communication revealed that certain party leaders and workers were indulging in anti-party activities by contesting the ongoing Assembly elections against party candidates,” the notice read.
