Centre planning to bring back withdrawn farm laws through 'back door', says Kejriwal
The Free Press Journal - Bhopal
|January 03, 2025
Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday charged that the Centre was planning to bring back the three farm laws, which were withdrawn three years ago in the wake of protests by farmers, through the back door by calling them "policies".
In a post on "X" in connection with the ongoing agitation by farmers in Punjab, Kejriwal, whose party is ruling in the state, said farmers have been sitting on dharna and indefinite hunger strike for many days there. He asserted that "their demands are the same which the central government had accepted three years ago but has not implemented yet."
