HUM AAP KE HAIN CONG?

Having failed to thrash out a seat-sharing formula with Congress despite a week's discussion at various levels, Aam Aadmi Party on Monday afternoon announced its first list of 20 candidates for the Haryana assembly election. Earlier, Congress announced its first list of 31 candidates on September 6 and followed it up with another of nine candidates on September 8.

The most prominent face of AAP to figure in the first list is its state vice-president Anurag Dhanda from Kalayat. The list also figures a woman candidate, Indu Sharma from Bhiwani.

BLOC IN THE BLOCKHOLE?

Should AAP and Congress fight all the seats, it would be a major setback for the INDIA bloc of which they are constituents, which was formed to keep BJP away from power at the Centre and in states.
