Identified as Gopal Bhobhani Gowda, 27, a Diva resident, the accused is an employee of the company contracted to maintain the school’s lifts.
Police said that Gowda had touched the girl on her back as she was walking out of the classroom with her friends on Wednesday.
The minor, who resides in Mulund, informed her parents about the incident and an FIR was filed at the Bhandup police station on Thursday.
According to police, the girl had attended school as usual in the morning.
