Students' learning level assessment drive starts

The Zilla Parishad (ZP) has launched a drive to assess the learning levels of students from the second standard to the eighth between Nov 28 and 30.

The evaluation of the students of the ZP Schools will be done in these three days, said the Principal of the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Deepal Sable.

Rege dies at 76

Farmer Mumbai captain and selector Milind Rege, a highly respected figure in domestic cricket, died after suffering a heart attack on Wednesday just days after tuming 76 Rege, who turned 76 last Sunday, was admitted in the intensive care unit of the Breach Candy Hospital here and passed away around 6am on Wednesday morning. Heis survived by his wife and two sons.
