PLYMOUTH Argyle's Championship match against Oxford United at Home Park today has been postponed after an amber weather warning was issued by the Met Office for potentially damaging winds associated with Storm Darragh.
Match postponed as Storm Darragh arrives

Argyle had been carrying out risk assessments throughout yesterday and were strongly recommended by the local Safety Advisory Group not to go ahead with the game as scheduled.

The amber weather warning includes the south-west of England from 1am this morning until 9pm tonight. A yellow warning for wind remains in effect until 6am on Sunday.

A club statement issued yesterday afternoon read as follows: "Having consulted with key stakeholders and the Safety Advisory Group, we have been strongly recommended by the latter to postpone tomorrow's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Oxford United, so it has therefore been postponed.
