IRR alignment case: Lokesh seeks anticipatory bail

While Chandrababu Naidu bail hearing gets adjourned till 29 September

DP national general secretary Nara Lokesh has sought anticipatory bail from Andhra T Pradesh High Court after the CID submitted a memo in the Anti Corruption Bureau court naming him as an accused in the Amaravati Inner Ring Alignment scam case.
Meanwhile, in the same case the hearing in the High Court over former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu's anticipatory bail was adjourned till 29 September.
The anticipatory bail petition was filed by his lawyers in the court since Mr Lokesh is still away in Delhi.
