2 key projects flagged off; to cut Mum-Pune travel time

Thane: Two crucial infrastructure projects — the Y junction flyover at Mumbra and the first phase of the third Kalwa creek bridge, both on NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad’s turf — were inaugurated by chief minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday evening.
The projects, he assured, would ease and fasten commute from Western Mumbai suburbs, Gujarat and Thane to Navi Mumbai, JNPT and Pune.
