23-day winter session to start on December 7

The winter session of Parliament will be commence from December 7 and will continue until December 29, "subject to exigencies of government business", the Lok Sabha secretariat said on Saturday.

Parliamentary affairs minister Pralhad Joshi, who announced the dates on Twitter, said that the session will comprise 17 sittings spread over 23 days. "...Looking forward to discussions on Legislative Business and other items during the session," he said.
