Pune: At least 20 people were injured after a Mumbai-bound goods truck ploughed through vehicles held up in a jam between two bridges in Pune on Sunday evening.
DCP Sohail Sharma said six of the injured were admitted to hospital. Several vehicles were damaged in the accident which took place at 8.30pm between the Bhumkar and Navale bridges. The police said fuel spilled out of some the 25 damaged vehicles, rendering the stretch treacherous and causing some of the traffic to be diverted or stopped.
