Union minister for information & broadcasting and sports & youth affairs Anurag Thakur conducted door-to-door campaigning in Rajendra Nagar to seek votes for BJP candidate, Manika Nischal in the municipal polls.
Amid chants of 'Jai Shri Ram' and 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai', Thakur started the campaign after seeking blessings at a Hanuman temple. He then attacked the Aam Aadmi Party and claimed it was the most corrupt and shameless government in India since Independence. He said though minister Satyendar Jain had been languishing in jail for nearly six months, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had not sought his resignation.
