Baker takes two wickets on his debut

SONNY BAKER enjoyed a solid England debut by taking two wickets on day one of the second Test match against New Zealand at the KIA Oval.

The 23-year-old, who hails from Torbay, ended the day with 2-63, including the key wicket of Daryl Mitchell shortly after tea, as the tourists finished an absorbing first day on 291-7.
