I was so passionate about my career choice that after fighting all odds and convincing my family to join the Aviation industry as a Flight Attendant, I kick-started my career with Jet Airways. After a few years, I left Aviation, came back home, finished my degree in HR, and worked in Ahmedabad. There I got the opportunity to work with a leading publication house in India in the Advertisement and Scheduling department. I took that up and I got to learn a lot, as it was totally different from what I had done earlier.
After a few years, I got married to the love of my life but had to leave my job as I couldn't get transferred to Delhi. After coming to Delhi, the real struggle for a professional career began. I couldn't find the right job as per my experience and I was not a person who could have sat at home peacefully. Finally, I got into British Airways and after a year and a half, had to leave due to complications in my pregnancy.
This was a turning point in my life, staying alone during my pregnancy was terrifying and created a lot of loneliness. So a cumulative decision was made that I would deliver at my parents' house and go to Ahmedabad when I was 6 months pregnant. There I had different challenges to deal with. By this time, I was so used to my husband that this long distance was bothering me a lot. We did a little maternity shoot in my 8th month of pregnancy and I loved how I made all the placards on my own and planned the shoot in a garden.
Fast forward to delivering my bundle of joy, Swara, through normal delivery, I can never forget that day of 24 hours of labor pain with me shouting at the top of my voice to get the baby out somehow. But my Doctor and my Mom were calm and wanted the delivery to be a natural one. Seeing that dimpled smile and those innocent eyes that were staring at me made me forget that pain which was equal to 20 bones simultaneously getting fractured.
