Runaway leaders Barnet edged ever closer to the National League title with a slender win over in-form Woking.

It was the Cards' first home league defeat since November, with Rhys Browne's well-taken first half goal against his former club's proving decisive.

It could have been much worse for the hosts if not for the heroics of goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen, who produced a string of superb saves to keep his side in the game.

For the Bees, it secured a SEVENTH straight victory and fifth without conceding a goal not that boss Dean Brennan was particularly amused.

"The pitch today was nearly as bad as the referee," he said. "The standard of officiating was shambolic, horrendous. Neal Ardley is a top manager, he doesn't deserve a pitch like that. I've seen park football pitches better. We had to adapt with the referee and pitch against us.
