Ampthill given 11-try lesson in class from Bath

After an eye-watering 11 tries to nil victory Bath assistant coach Andy Robinson said: "We are delighted with our defensive effort and we're ecstatic to keep them to nil.

"What pleased me the most was the leadership from the players, the attitude from the players and the ability to perform for 80 minutes." Bath scored their first try inside two minutes.

After building the phases from inside their half, the ball was spread to Ruaridh McConnochie on the left flank who finished brilliantly in the corner under significant pressure. A superb touchline conversion from Orlando Bailey made it 7-0.
