One marvels at the incompetence that takes so many allegedly talented players and converts them into a shapeless, clueless rabble… for make no mistake that is exactly what England have become.
And this is no overnight creation. With the exception of the class of 2003, England have contrived to fail to capitalise on the talents and numbers available. Be it the faceless RFU bureaucrats, the coaching staff, player selection, strategy and/or tactics all have failed to knit together a team consistently capable of challenging and winning at the very top.
