Winter is the ideal time to witness all Vilnius has to offer, especially since December and January often see the whimsical buildings and streets of this compact city carpeted in a blanket of snow. It’s also possible to visit the city on a relatively low budget since well-designed, airy Airbnbs are plentiful and flights from some of the UK’s low-cost airlines are more affordable at this time of year.
