After rising to fame as somewhat of a comedy act on The X Factor, Rylan Clark has defied the odds when it comes to his career. Nobody could have predicted that the guy with long platinum hair and layers of fake tan would go on to become one of the UK’s biggest presenters.
After appearing on the singing show in 2012, the following year Rylan – real name Ross – entered the Celebrity Big Brother house, cementing himself firmly in the British public’s hearts and going on to win the show. From there, his career has gone from strength to strength.
He’s a regular presenter on ITV’s This Morning and hosted spin-off shows Big Brother’s Bit on the Side and Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, as well as landing a commentator gig for the Eurovision Song Contest.
