The reality stars say 'I do' in a perfect country ceremony

Even an unsuspecting bridesmaid nearly falling into a lake mid-vows couldn't dampen the joy of Farmer Wants A Wife favourites Andrew Guthrie and Jess Nathan, who have tied the knot after meeting on the Aussie dating show in 2021.

"We were just really excited and so we told ourselves that if anything went pear-shaped, we'd just keep our sense of humour about it all," Jess, 30, says of the couple's big day at a winery five hours south of Sydney.

"We got married on a pier over a small lake and I wore a six-metre-long veil. It wasn't coping when a breeze picked up during my vows - it was wrapping around Andrew and my bridesmaids. One of them grabbed it and tried to pull it back, but she almost fell into the water, then I almost fell in as well. In the end, I just stepped to the side and took my veil off."

Laughing, Jess continues, "One of our family members described the ceremony as 'emotional, beautiful and chaotic, but it was very us. It was perfect - we're still on cloud nine!"
