Memorable Teachers!

LOOKING BACK, I WONDER WHAT FOISTED OR ENCOURAGED THEM TO BE SO? WISH I HAD REMEMBERED THEM ON AN INSPIRING NOTE.

AImost every Teachers Day, I have written about my favourite teachers - who made an inspiring contribution in their own ways to this noble profession. But forgive me this time, as my pen couldn't hold writing on teachers, who did leave unforgettable memories - but for the wrong reasons.

In the year 2006, when I was in class 12 and board exams were fast approaching, our middle-aged Geography teacher suddenly announced, "If you will take a special class at my home for your 30 marks practical file project, you will for sure get 30 on 30, else I can't guarantee your marks." Startled, we exchanged glances as to what kind of method it was for scoring high. Many of us had already weaved plans on how the practical file could be made creative, but his open statement for marks promise made us join his post-school class, held for nearly four weeks at his home, located in a noisy neighbourhood.
