Welcome to the 34th Edition of the Australian Deer Hunter magazine. We hope that the last Edition has tied you over for the last few months. The team at ADHM has pulled out all stops to give you a magazine that is packed full to hold you all out until our January 2017 Edition.
This Edition features 10 Technical articles to keep you reading for longer. We welcome some big names to the magazine and have some returning senior writers as well. Being a technical writer for a quarterly magazine like ADHM is a little bit like a double edge sword. You enjoy writing but you must back it up every 2 months with a new article for the next magazine. This also extends to being a publisher, trust me I say that producing a magazine that is 100 pages in size is a big job. Layout, advertising, content, planning and finally putting it all together after proofing and then final proofing…Yep it’s a big job but we love doing it!
This Edition welcomes 3 new writers to the team; Ross Price, Pat Tydings and Tyler Atkinson. We also welcome back long term writer, Noel O’Connor, who has been building his dream home.
Ross Price is a well-respected hunter who cut his teeth on Sambar deer in Victoria. Ross has gone on to hunt overseas and has had great success as a hunting guide. Ross will bring a new dimension to ADHM and all the team are excited to have him on-board. Pat Tydings who owns Boulder Creek Archery in Willow Tree joins the team at ADHM. Pat will be regularly contributing informative archery articles. Finally, we welcome Tyler Atkinson who will be contributing on several different subjects. Tyler is a great furniture maker, knife maker and avid bow hunter. We look forward to Tyler’s contributions to ADHM.
