Bali, and for that matter the whole of Indonesia, is perhaps the very heart of creative tropical living design. The mere mention of ‘Bali’ evokes thoughts of paradise, it’s more than a place it’s a mood, an aspiration, a tropical state of mind eloquently reflected in its architecture.

• No Brazilians design feature without a look at the country's world renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer, the father of contemporary architecture.
• We get laid back and sandy with UXUA, a one of a kind eco-inspired hotel on the Bahian coastal village of Trancoso.
• Then we veer off to Mexico and discover one of Mexico’s best kept secrets until now, Hotel Be Tulum.
