Child labour is a problem deeply rooted in our society which is destroying the childhood of millions of children. We’re facing an unfortunate problem and this problem cannot be solved in a day. There are various factors responsible for child abuse, the main problem from where all it starts is poverty. If poverty can be curbed to an extent, children wouldn't have to go seeking work to make a few extra bucks to support their families. Ambiguity and flaws that help people get away from keeping children at work need to be removed, and better, more detailed and transparent laws are supposed to be made with minimum to no loopholes. The organized sector alone doesn't run the country, laws need to cover the unorganized sector to streamline every kind of child labour as exploitation of human rights and horrendous crime. As long as we, the common people do not acknowledge the problem and help each other, it's gonna stay right in our faces, mocking us.

Movies are not only for the entertainment they help in portraying the real picture of the society. Films act as a mirror and reflect the image back at people to jolt them out of their state of denial. Although films are made for entertainment and most people don't see it as a learning tool but no good film is made without giving it careful thought. Engineers play a vital role in the expansion of the country. They don’t just sit back and watch, they make things happen. Using innovation, creativity and a wealth of knowledge, engineering graduates are impacting the world unlike any other. Engineers and their labors are, in effect, transforming the theoretical to the practical for the betterment of all. They have made our work easier and our general standards of living have risen considerably. The work of countless engineers over the ages has changed our lives forever and made us proud in the whole Universe. Every year million aspirants fight for one of the toughest exams of the world to get into the top-notch institutions, IIT. This issue covers the most aspects of Engineering in our republic.

There is a stigma in society that implies one who is more inclined toward science and math will somehow be more successful in life, and that one who is more passionate toward literature and other art forms will be destined to a life of low-paying jobs and unsatisfying careers. With so many career choices, finding the right postgraduate educational program to enrol in can be a challenge, but if it’s business that you want to go into then it’s a good idea to enrol in a program that will provide you with the requisite knowledge, skills and ethics to fit right into the business community and an MBA program is the perfect choice. Apart from job crisis, unemployment, dissatisfaction youngsters still want to pursue this course and have the experience of corporate world. Earlier, MBA colleges used to focus on industry readiness and train their students well to take on the complex challenges of an interconnected world.

Sports was always something which needs our attention the most because it is important for the overall development of the society. It is necessary to develop all the skills needed from the student stage itself to be successful in the competitive world. India being one of the most populous nation, despite having population over one billion, why we still lag behind in the field of sports? This question needs its answer now when the other countries are running with their highest pace in terms of producing talented players. We need to start from the school level. Children needs to be taught from their childhood only that they must chose at least one sport for the physical exercise. Parents need to give equal importance to sports as well.

Today education plays a big part in all the aspects of like. From primary to higher education it should be the right of every individual to get the best quality education.  The education system in India has struggled for a long time. With the country set to become one of the youngest nations in the world by 2030 around 140 million people will be in the college age group. India’s education system has been at the center of vociferous debate for several years now. In this addition, we have covered the importance of Post Graduation and tried to solve the dilemma between experience and higher studies.   Despite strong ambitions, the higher education system in India still lags behind the standards of the world’s best universities. The global approach with quality education should be the only aim of the country to prepare the military which is going to be the strongest army in the world.  Along with at primary level, equal attention should be given to higher education as well.

The Civil Services examination is the toughest of all still is a dream of a million students in India. The prestige and honor this position provides have attracted the scholars who wish to help a destitute and bring the change in society. As a civil servant, you can do justice to a lot of people which might seem insignificant to you but can turn around the life of a beneficiary.  Bureaucracy in India, both at the union and the states level constitutes the backbone of the administration. The role and function of the bureaucracy in India have increased enormously. Bureaucracy and government go hand in hand and they cannot work without each other's involvement. No doubt, the current bureaucracy need a radical change.  The bureaucracy is an institution without which democratic governments cannot work. Bureaucracy may be reformed but cannot be done away with. In this issue, we have covered the complete procedure of the UPSC and have managed to get the viewpoint of the officers and experts who are contributing to this service from so long.

We have recently celebrated 72nd Independence Day, remembered the sacrifices of our freedom fighters who fought for the idea of FREE INDIA. They have gallantly suppressed the British Empire who fabricated us into the slaves for two centuries. Mahatma Gandhi, who wished to see India free and strong so that she may offer herself for the betterment of the nation from economy to education. His political acumen led India to independence. B R Ambedkar, one of the very few intellectually brilliant leaders of that time. He believed that education is a movement. If it does not fulfill its objectives, it is useless.

This year we are celebrating 71 years of democracy. The unprecedented domination by Britishers for almost two centuries had left India with the minimum resources to cope up with the situation. But we Indians from mere few percentages of literate citizens, today have reached to the stars and painted our name with pride on the top of the world. In this achievement, education has played a pivotal role. Education in India has many facets, many of which have been forged by different institutions that existed from historic times to the present day. From Gurukul to smart classes we have travelled a long road. Indian education since independence is a bold and challenging experiment in social reconstruction on the basis of freedom and democracy.

Gone are the days when Medical, Engineering, Law were the only popular career alternatives one could think of. We are living in an era of Digitalisation, where Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things are making our life better and more convenient to live in with full technological advancement on a tip of our finger. World is running with its highest pace and to go ahead of it one needs to be fully skilled and well equipped. To pursue emerging opportunities we have to equip tomorrow's engineering professionals to cope up with the growing responsibilities. The current scenario of Engineers in India is no doubt on down fall and degrading every year. Rather than crying on past figures and playing the blame game between Private and Government Institution, it's the time for call on action.
