In this 36th edition, we are delighted to present interviews that honor both emerging and established creators. Longlisted for the Booker Prize, Yael van der Wouden shares insights into her novel The Safekeep, a poignant exploration of memory, love, and loss. In our art spotlight, Stephen Mead, curator of The Chroma Museum, reveals his dedication to preserving LGBTQI history through powerful, evocative art that speaks to shared identities and forgotten stories. Munia edition, features conversations with some of the brightest creative minds of our time. Ambika Nagino (known to her readers as A.A. Vora), whose debut Spin of Fate has taken the Young Adult literary scene by storm, shares her journey from the bustling streets of Tokyo to the fantastical realms she conjures with her pen. Dimitri Sirenko, a Canadian artist whose bold use of acrylics and oils captures the essence of emotion on canvas, talks about his artistic philosophy and how the landscapes of his homeland influence his work. Rounding out this triumvirate of talent, Sanjeev Sethi, with the release of his eighth poetry collection, Legato without a Lisp. Our poetry and prose selections showcase a rich diversity of voices from across the globe, exploring themes both timeless and contemporary.

The Rosefinch Edition of The Wise Owl features interviews with Namita Gokhale, whose book 'Paro: Dreams of Passion' has been published as a modern Classic by Penguin, Hayley Singer, a writer whose debut work has been shortlisted for the Stella prize and Brigette Granton, a landscape artist from Canada. The edition has an eclectic mix of poetry, stories and creative non-fiction. Podcasts, Studio Talks & Literary soiree adds an audio-visual appeal to the magazine.

Oriole Edition of The Wise owl features interviews with Brinda Charry, award-winning author of The East Indian, which has garnered a lot of critical acclaim and Gemma Matthews, an Embroidery artist from Britain. The Talking Books segment showcases an interview with Rupa Anand, whose poetry collection To The Edgeless Sky & back tracks her cancer journey. The edition offers an engaging and immersive experience as the reader can browse through lots of poetry, stories, literary articles and reviews of poets & writers from across the globe. Podcasts & montage add an audio-visual dimension to the magazine.

In ancient Greek mythology, the song of the canary was said to be a gift from the gods, capable of bringing joy and healing to those who listened. Literature and art also have the power to bring joy and happiness. So, we decided to dedicate the July issue to the canary bird and baptised it as the Canary edition. This edition features interviews with Katia Ariel, who has been shortlisted for the Stella prize 2024 for her book The Swift Dark Tide and Kaoru Yamada, an illustrator & AI artist. The Sunbird Edition of The Wise Owl is a Rengay Special & features interviews with rengay creator, Garry Gay & rengay specialist John Thompson. You can enjoy collaborative rengay with poets from across the globe. We have short stories with a twist, musings, anecdotes, reviews (book & film) and podcasts with poets reciting their creations.  We have a special podcast of the Wise Owl Literary Soiree with Sudeep Sen, an international, award-winning poet. So dive into this beautifully curated June edition.

The Egret edition has on offer interviews with creative wizards- Shinie Antony, an award-winning writer, columnist and director of Bengaluru Poetry festival whose recent book Eden Abandoned: The Story of Lilith has been making people sit up and take notice.
