Dimitri Sirenko, a Canadian artist whose bold use of acrylics and oils captures the essence of emotion on canvas, talks about his artistic philosophy and how the landscapes of his homeland influence his work. Rounding out this triumvirate of talent, Sanjeev Sethi, with the release of his eighth poetry collection, Legato without a Lisp. The edition has an eclectic mix of poetry, stories and creative non-fiction. Podcasts, Studio Talks & Literary soiree adds an audio-visual appeal to the magazine.

Oriole Edition of The Wise owl features interviews with Brinda Charry, award-winning author of The East Indian, which has garnered a lot of critical acclaim and Gemma Matthews, an Embroidery artist from Britain. The Talking Books segment showcases an interview with Rupa Anand, whose poetry collection To The Edgeless Sky & back tracks her cancer journey. The edition offers an engaging and immersive experience as the reader can browse through lots of poetry, stories, literary articles and reviews of poets & writers from across the globe. In ancient Greek mythology, the song of the canary was said to be a gift from the gods, capable of bringing joy and healing to those who listened. Literature and art also have the power to bring joy and happiness. So, we decided to dedicate the July issue to the canary bird and baptised it as the Canary edition.
