This Men's Folio August '22 issue acts on it in certain ways, creating a detachment but still being faithful to the Men's Folio DNA. Our Heroes theme, which has served us well for the past few years, takes an evolutionary approach and I’m proud, together with the rest of the team, to share the newest theme for the August '22 issue: “Hometown Glory”. There is a slight hint of regret to move past the Heroes theme, but given what everyone has gone through during the pandemic, that title is befitting of those who have sacrificed selflessly. Yes, Adele does come to mind with our new theme, but it also fits in perfectly with our DNA — to shine the spotlight on local talents who are putting Singapore on the global map.
