After the Day-long Knowledge-sharing Sessions at the Igen Design Forum 2017, It Was Time for Winning Smiles at the Grand Finale – the Much-awaited Felicitation of the Igen Architects and Designers
The intense discussions and deliberations held during the 6th Annual iGen Design Forum, which we have summarised in the second part of this report, were a prelude to the recognition of the contribution of iGen 2017 – the 50 young architects and designers who made it to our annual hotlist. The finale was a celebration of the qualities that have brought gen-next to this point – their idealism, intelligence, inspiration, innovation and ingenuity. This was eloquently expressed by architect Karan Grover in his inspiring presentation that applauded the youngsters for the path they have chosen to tread and goaded them to aspire to greater heights in the future. Most of them were left misty-eyed and filled with the resolve to push themselves to do even better work and to be better human beings.
